Healthkeeperz began in 1966 as Pembroke Drug Center, a hometown pharmacy founded by pharmacist Howard Brooks to serve the people of Pembroke and surrounding areas. Rooted in faith and a deep commitment to community care, the company expanded over the decades, growing into a trusted provider of community-based healthcare services across North Carolina.

Tim has served Healthkeeperz for over two decades. He prides himself on his willingness to grow and learn from his amazing team. Being mission minded, Tim often leads with a heart to serve and prides himself on the internal culture of Healthkeeperz that aims to go above and beyond to provide for the needs of both patients and employees. He stands firm that with the people serving in Healthkeeperz as well as the patients that trust them, the future is bright and nothing is impossible.
Chief People Officer
James has been on the Healthkeeperz Team since 2014 and continues to daily enjoy the opportunity to improve the well-being of the employees as well as cultivate the culture of “Flourishing” in the workspace. James enjoys family, friends, and loves music, both listening and playing. Bass, upright bass, piano, if its got a jazz vibe, he is about it.

Tim has been working with Healthkeeperz as of 2023, focusing on nurturing the growth of the company both internally and externally. Tim brings a wealth of experience in making sure that what happens behind the scenes, allows for the best quality care for all patients. He has a passion for family and community, and enjoys both fishing and golfing in his free time.

Uinta has been with Healthkeeperz for nearly 20 years. Often referred to as the glue of the company, she strives to keep things organized and efficient to provide the best quality experience for both clients and employees. As passionate as she is about her own culture, she thouroughly enjoys traveling and experiencing the different cultures around the world.
Chief Marketing & Sales Officer
Morgan joined Healthkeeperz in April 2025 and leads the strategic direction of marketing and sales to advance the organization’s mission of compassionate care. She oversees brand development, public relations, digital marketing, sales team leadership, and communications. Outside of work, Morgan enjoys time with family, attending Calvary Way Church, and browsing antique shops.
